TCS A6X For Atlas, Athearn, Kato, Bachman and Other Diesel Locomotives
The A6X is a drop-in replacement for the locomotive light board. It has the standard 12 volt supply for 12 to 14 volt bulbs and also has a on board 1.5 volt regulated power supply to directly hook up 1.5 volt bulbs with out the need for dropping resistors. This is very useful for Athearn Genesis series locos and Life Like Loco's that come equipped with 1.5 volt bulbs! It is a Six-function Quiet Drive decoder with Dither (digital pulse power), and comes standard with all "X" series features.		 $29.95
TCS DP5X Just plug the decoder directly into the locomotive DCC socket!
 The DP5X decoder is designed as a direct Plug N' Play decoder to fit many different HO-scale locomotives. There is no wire harness. No soldering is required. Installation is very easy. Lenz New Gold and Silver series decoders are quite simply the best available. They are high frequency (silent) and feature back emf motor control that can be configured to the particular motor characteristics in the locomotive. This motor drive offers exceptional quiet and smooth operation to the locomotive. The decoders have identical motor drive and function specifications. Gold series support RailCom, USP, and SUSI, Silver do not.

Power 1 USP Modules for Gold Decoders
 POWER-1 is an energy storage module for use with GOLD Series decoders. USP means "uninterruptable signal processing. " This storage unit supplies the decoder and the locomotive with power when there is an interruption of electrical connection to the track (e.g. dirty tracks).

The USP circuit of the GOLD decoders allows the decoder to receive the DCC signal without a direct electrical connection to the track. During the period where track electrical power is not present the USP circuit switches to the backup power provided from the POWER-1 storage module to ensure continued control of the motor. If digital information is no longer transmitted, the motor will be deactivated. This prevents the locomotive wheels from continuing to turn, for example: in the case of a derailment.
